SOAR Career Camp
At SOAR Career Camps, we are committed to helping our participants discover their future career paths. Everyone should have access to insightful resources to help them make informed decisions about their future. Through our Career Camps, our participants can explore various career options, gain work-based experience, and learn from experienced professionals. Our participants can SOAR to new heights professionally with the proper guidance and support.
We help individuals between the ages of 14 and 21 with unique abilities have the chance to develop necessary skills such as initiative, effective communication, teamwork, soft skills, time management, and work-based experience. With funding through Vocational Rehabilitation, we offer our career camps for free, and participants will earn an incentive for each camp.
Our Career Camps provide comprehensive learning opportunities catering to our participants’ needs. We offer career education, career research, work-based learning, social skills, and life skills. We understand the importance of helping our participants develop self-advocacy and leadership skills, so we include these aspects in our program.
In addition to our regular in-person camps, we offer Virtual Camps that are more accessible and flexible for our participants. The Virtual Camps allow our students to continue learning from the comfort of their homes while engaging with guest speakers and participating in community outings. Our Virtual Camps feature the same curriculum as our in-person camps, ensuring all participants receive the same comprehensive experience.
