Our organization, The Florida Institute for Community Inclusion, takes immense pride in partnering with the Florida Division of Vocational Rehabilitation to provide adult employment services to eligible individuals. We offer diverse services such as career camps, work readiness training, and self-advocacy training. We also provide pre-placement training, paid on-the-job training, and discovery.

It is crucial to remember that our services are specially tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, ensuring benefits leading to achieving independence and a successful career path. Our ultimate goal lies in enhancing customer independence by establishing a lifelong, successful career path. With our comprehensive and personalized assistance, individuals can find and keep a job while achieving financial and social independence.

Referral Process for Career Camps

SOAR Career Camps: Initiative, teamwork, soft skills, effective communication, time-management, and work basked experience are essential skills needed to join today’s workforce. Our organization provides career education, career research, work-based learning, self-advocacy, and leadership skill-building through Career Camp. Through a contracted grant from Vocational Rehabilitation, we offer free Career Camps to those with disabilities between the ages of 14-21 that meet eligibility for special education services through either a 504 Plan or an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

You must email proof of eligibility (504, IEP, Medical Diagnosis, etc.) and fill out the referral paperwork below to participate.
