SOAR Transition Academy is an incredible opportunity for high school students who have completed their academic requirements and are currently deferred. This program, which is generously funded through the FES-UA scholarship, is specifically designed to help participants develop their independent living skills and plan for life beyond high school. Throughout the program, students will gain important insights into self-advocacy, independent living and career readiness, as well as explore their own strengths and interests. Additionally, students will have the chance to engage in real-world job experiences, gaining valuable experience in a variety of industries. If you’re interested in the SOAR Transitional Academy, keep in mind that you can defer graduation and participate in work-based learning experiences after you’ve completed 12th grade and fulfilled academic requirements.
