Vocational Rehabilitation

Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) is a federal-state program that helps people with unique abilities find and keep a job. The Florida Institute for Community Inclusion is partnered with The Florida Division of Vocational Rehabilitation to help with adult employment services, career camps, work readiness training, self-advocacy training, pre-placement training, paid on-the-job training, and discovery. Our services enhance a customer’s independence by establishing career success.

Referral Process for Career Camps

SOAR Career Camps: Initiative, teamwork, soft skills, effective communication, time-management, and work basked experience are essential skills needed to join today’s workforce. Our organization provides career education, career research, work-based learning, self-advocacy, and leadership skill-building through Career Camp. Through a contracted grant from Vocational Rehabilitation, we offer free Career Camps to those with disabilities between the ages of 14-21 that meet eligibility for special education services through either a 504 Plan or an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

You must email proof of eligibility (504, IEP, Medical Diagnosis, etc.) and fill out the referral paperwork below to participate.
