SOAR Vocational Employment Services
Offers a variety of support for participants qualifying for Vocational Rehabilitation services. These services include job development, supported employment, person-centered transition planning, guidance and counseling for parents and stakeholders, community living education, secondary and post-secondary education, life coaching, social skills training. In addition to these services for clients, we also provide community outreach programs, including training and workshops for educators, parents, and community partners, administrative support, UDL for the workplace, and community presentations.

Helping students learn more about themselves, their disabilities, and how to present themselves responsibly; recognizing their strengths, advocating for their needs, and developing strategies for goal setting, time management, and problem-solving.
Every client will explore appropriate workplace behaviors participate in worksite tours and job shadowing experiences. Preparing students for the workplace; soft skills training, peer mentoring, independent living skills, and accessing transportation.
These programs and curriculum are specifically designed to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to gain meaningful employment within the community.
Is designed for clients who need help on how their abilities can be successfully applied to a career path. During this process, a Discovery Specialist will spend one-on-one time with the client to find careers that are the right fit for each and every client. During the first initial visit one of our specialists will observe
On-the-Job Training, students will gain valuable experiences, develop solid work references, and build connections for future employment. Each On-the-Job has different experiences for each client based on their interests.Tab Content
